The Nation's Weather for Saturday, July 15, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large swath of thunderstorms will rumble through most
areas east of the Mississippi River tomorrow. Thunderstorms
will be capable of producing flash flooding and damaging
winds in Ohio, eastern Michigan, central and eastern
Indiana, throughout Kentucky and Tennessee and as far south
as northern Georgia. Those hazards will extend into the
western Carolinas, but ponding on streets and highways will
be the main risk in central and eastern North Carolina and
north-central South Carolina. Afternoon thundershowers will
dot eastern Colorado, the Oklahoma Panhandle and the
northern Texas Panhandle. Intense heat will continue to bake
portions of the West. Some temperatures may challenge
