The Nation's Weather for Sunday, October 30, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A slow-moving storm will trudge through the central United
States tomorrow, producing rain and thunderstorms from
Illinois down to the Florida Panhandle. On the western side
of the storm, a few showers are expected, mainly across
Missouri and Arkansas. A strong plume of moisture streaming
into the Northwest will lead to heavy rainfall in western
Washington. This rain will produce a threat for flooding,
mainly along the coast. High pressure is expected to remain
in place over the Northeast. This high pressure will lead to
dry conditions over the region. Dry weather and mostly sunny
conditions are expected over California as well. A majority
of the U.S. will experience seasonable temperatures,
although Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona can have
slightly lower temperatures.
