The Nation's Weather for Sunday, November 13, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
With a polar air mass moving in behind a strong cold front,
a sharp drop in temperatures is likely tomorrow along the
East coast. In some spots, high temperatures may drop as
much as 20 degrees Fahrenheit compared to today. Meanwhile,
snow showers are likely to persist across the Great Lakes
and interior Northeast. Downwind of the lakes, which will
locally enhance any snowfall, minor accumulations are
expected, especially on grassy and elevated surfaces. In the
Midwest and across the Plains states, abnormally cold air
will remain in place, with high temperatures in much of the
Dakotas and eastern Montana likely peaking between 10 and 20
degrees. Some snow showers are also possible in the northern
Plains, though accumulations should remain very light.
