Bobby Gentry
COWART — Bobby Joe Gentry, age 82, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 23, at North Mississippi Medical Center Gilmore-Amory.
Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at Magnolia Garden Cemetery at Paynes. Newsom Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Mr. Gentry was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved farming.
Those whom he leaves to forever cherish his memory include his loving wife of 57 years, Frances Aven Gentry of Cowart; two daughters, Barbara Seymore (Bud) and Sharon Seymore (Danny) both of Nettleton; one son, Billy Joe Gentry (Stephanie) of Nettleton; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; and one brother, A.C. Gentry of Glendora.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Allen and Nettie McCammon Gentry; two brothers, L. Gentry and Thomas Gentry; a half brother, Hayden Gentry; and one sister, Lorrena Florio.
