CLARKSDALE — Catherine Hays Belvedresi, 62, an office manager for Mississippi Bulk Transport, Inc., passed away Sunday, Sept. 20, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Southaven.
Visitation is Tuesday, Sept. 22, 10 -11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale. Memorial services are 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Clarksdale, with burial in the Oakridge Cemetery. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale is handling the arrangements.
Cathy was a very kind and loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She was the proud Honey to her grandson Dunn. Her family was her pride and joy and well as her dog Lucy. She loved being surrounded by her friends and living life to the fullest.
She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Harry Belvedresi of Cleveland; son, Nick Belvedresi (Lindsay) of Oxford; two daughters, Heather Belvedresi Elman (Billy) of Madison and Sarah Belvedresi of Oxford; grandson, Dunn Belvedresi; her mother, Isabelle Welshans Hays of Charleston; mother-in-law, Carrie Belvedresi of Clarksdale; sister, Debbie Hays Lewis (DaDa) of Tribbett; brother, Will Hays, II (Lynn) of Piperton, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Eddie Belvedresi (Marsha) of Madison; sister-in-law, Carol Belvedresi of Clarksdale; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved and cherished as her own.
She was preceded in death by father, Billy Hays; and father-in-law, Floyd Belvedresi.
