CLARKSDALE — Colleen Moore Vaughn, age 86, passed away Thursday, March 31, at Clarksdale Nursing Center.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, at Clarksdale Baptist Church with interment in Rosemound Cemetery in Tutwiler. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Colleen Vaughn was a member of Order of The Eastern Star, Clarksdale Chapter #115. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of Clarksdale Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons, William Darrell “Rocky” (Pamela) Vaughn of Cleveland, Henry T. (Nancy) Vaughn, Jr. of Andalausia, Ala.; a daughter, Fredna Pearson of Tutwiler; brother, Billy G. Moore of Clarksdale; sister, Geneva Magee of Clarksdale; and grandchildren, Angel Nicole Vaughn of Cleveland, Lindsey Vaughn (Jonathan) Robbins of Auburn, Ala., Devon D. Vaughn of Andalusia, Ala., Stacy Vaughn (Sean) Quidry of Gulf Breeze, Fla., Janet Pearson Johns, Jesse K. (Gina) Pearson, III, Dawn P. (Scott) Carraway; great-grandchildren, Conner Alexander Furby, Conner (Lacy) Carraway, Tracy K. (Tiffany) Johns, Terry V. (Jamie) Clark, Holly P. (Adyn) Dancy, Jesse K. Pearson IV, Josheph S. Pearson; and niece Christina (Robert) Burgess of Millington, Tenn.
Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Thomas Vaughn, Sr; parents, Willie Gray and Ossie King Moore; and a granddaughter, Karen M. Pearson.
