CHARLESTON — Dr. William Webber Anderson, age 91, dentist for 62 years, passed away at his home on Thursday, Aug. 1.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at First Baptist Church in Charleston with interment following in Charleston Cemetery. Womble Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
For 65 years he was a member of the Rotary Club. He was presented the Paul Harris Award, was a member of Tri-Lake Dental Study Club, and a 33rd degree Mason. He was also a WWII Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Venable Anderson of Charleston; two sons, James Walker Anderson and Eugene Singleton Anderson, both of Charleston; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
