Frances Carson

SUMNER —  Frances Louise "Weesie" Carson 84, an Avon representative, died Monday, June 10, at Cleveland Nursing and Rehabilitation. 

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, June 17,  at Sumner Baptist Church in Sumner with burial following in the Missions Cemetery in Winona. Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale had charge of the arrangements.

She retired as the local Avon representative in Sumner for over 30 years. She was a member of Crowder Baptist Church.

Survivors include nephews, Melvin Little, Jr. and Bobby Fields, Jr.; nieces Amanda Fields Cox, Vonda (Tony) Womble, Cassondra (Allen) Raney and Dalynda (Jamie) Gaston; greatnephews, Jeremy Earnest, Brandon Little, Tad Little, Jonathan Hill and Ben Womble; and eight great-nieces, Lauren Long, Courtney Casey, Priscilla Cook, Paige Womble, Anne Rutland, Jordan Raney, Kristen Fields, Jordan Thweatt and Anna Carson Edwards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge DeWitt Carson and Robbie Lea Parker Carson; brother, Carlos Carson; and sisters, Bertha Lea Little and Evelyn C. Fields.
