TILLATOBA — Harry Lee Smith, age 58, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17, in Grenada.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Newsom Funeral Home chapel with interment following in Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Smith was a supervisor with CB&I Pipeline of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Smith of Tillatoba; his daughters, Christy (Freddie) Tallent and Kaynesha Anderson; his son, Jonathan Smith of Tillatoba; his mother, Ann McLaughlin of Greenwood; and 2 grandchildren, Brittney Macon and Ethan Tallent of Tillatoba. Mr. Smith is also survived by four sisters, Vickie (Jim) Cornet of Oxford; Wanda (Charles) Bullard of Athens, Ga., Dorothy McLaughlin Moore of Brandon, and Jeannie McLaughlin of Greenwood; and four brothers, Ronald (Becky) Smith of Enid, Donald Smith of Pope, Earl Smith of Greenwood, and Walter McLaughlin of Jackson. His father and stepmother, Bill and Odean Smith, and stepfather, Walter McLaughlin, preceded him in death.
The family requests memorials be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Association.
