CHARLESTON — Jill Haise Mothershed, age 69, passed away Monday evening, Jan. 18 at Baptist North Mississippi in Oxford.
The family will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 22, from 10 a.m. until service time beginning 11 a.m. at Friendship East Baptist Church, Charleston. Interment will follow at Peach Creek Cemetery located near Sardis at 1 p.m.
Due to COVID-19, anyone attending the visitation or service at the church MUST WEAR A FACE COVERING.
Jill was a member of Friendship East Baptist Church, loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her dogs, crocheting, calligraphy and was just a sweet soul.
Those whom Jill leaves behind include two daughters, Anne Belflower (Keith) of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Chandra Walters of Charleston; one son, Jimmy Norman of Batesville; five grandchildren, Kenny Applewhite (Paije) of Alabama, Justin Applewhite of Batesville, Alicia Norman of Texas, Jessie Willard of Charleston, Elizabeth Willard of Charleston; five great-grandchildren, Gavin Applewhite, Jeremiah Applewhite, Bryson Nelson, Austin Applewhite and Leah Applewhite; one sister, Jackie Siddon (Dewayne) of Cleveland, Tenn.; and a host of niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ray Mothershed, her parents, Norman and Francis Haise; and one son, Anthony Gene Walters.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society.
