CHARLESTON — SSGT Kem L. Brewer, Sr., age 54, passed way Friday, Sept. 25, at the VA Medical Center in Jackson.
The wake will be held at Clark-Williams Funeral Home Friday, Oct. 9, from 3-5 p.m. Graveside services are scheduled for 12 noon Saturday, Oct. 10, at Betty Scurlock Memorial Park, Sharkey Road, near Charleston.
He was an Army veteran who retired from the U.S. military in December 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Annie Brewer; three sons, Kem L. Brewer, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Co., Dario (Rowenna) Brewer of Charleston and Qwantavius Thomas; daughter-in-law, Ashley Washington; four grandchildren, Damarrion Brewer, Amiri Brewer, A’Dariya Brewer and Khalil Thomas.
Clark-Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
