CHARLESTON — Mary McCraney, age 78, passed away Friday, July 31, at Tallahatchie General Hospital in Charleston.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Halls Cemetery in Dundee. Newsom Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mary was an avid knitter, loved playing Uno, was an avid gardener, loved her husband, kids, grands and great-grands.
Those whom she leaves behind include her husband, Charles McCraney Sr. of Charleston; one daughter, Shelby Busby (Daniel) of Water Valley; four sons, Randy Parker of Memphis, John Webb (Lisa) of Sledge, JD Alexander (Paula Lacomb) of Sledge, Charles McCraney II (Latasha) of Charleston; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruthie Parker; one daughter, Margaret Ann Self; and two brothers, Jessie and Buddy Parker.
