SARDIS — Mildred Joyce Manning, age 40, lost her life Sunday, April 12, when a tree fell on her home during the Easter storm.
Private graveside services were held Wednesday, April 15, at Spring Hill cemetery near Oakland.
She is survived by her parents, Joseph Ray Manning and Magnolia Gattis Manning of Oakland; a daughter, Kristen Michelle Manning of Oakland; and a brother, Jeffrery Stephen Manning of Tyler, Texas.
The family requests memorials be made to Shriner’s Hospital, 3100 Samford Ave., Shreveport, La. 71103.
Womble Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
