CHARLESTON —Monroe Keith Beardain Sr., age 83, retired machinest, passed away Tuesday, July 28, , at Tallahatchie General Extended Care Facility.
Graveside services were held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at Magnolia Gardens Cemetery at Paynes. Womble Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
He was a member of Community Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae McGarrity Beardain; a daughter, Angela Beardain of Grenada; a son, Monroe Keith Beardain Jr. of Enid; 4 step-children, Deborah Sanders of Enid, Glenda Newton of Charleston, Charlotte Campbell of Carrollton and Ben Chambers of Batesville; a brother, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
