CHARLESTON — Robert Lester Cox II, age 40, passed away Monday, Oct. 26.
Funeral services will be held at Cowart Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery near Paynes. Womble Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Rob was born June 26, 1980 to Robert Lester Cox and Marijo Denman Cox.
An Eagle Scout and business man, he was a member of Cowart Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Megan Little Cox; a daughter, Lexi Tallant; a son, Bo Cox; and a grandson, Baker Jay Rawles, all of Charleston; his mother, Marijo (JoJo) Cox; a sister, Eva (Brad) Ward; a nephew, Brody Ward and niece Harper Ward, all of Hernando. He was preceded in death by his father, Lester Cox.
Rob had an infectious grin, a constant ballcap, and a love for the outdoors. His hunting and fishing stories will continue to be infamous!
The family requests that any memorials be directed to Grenada High School, Rob Cox Baseball Memorial.
