CHARLESTON — Ruby Morgan Hurt, age 95, former factory inspector, passed away Tuesday, July 23, at Tallahatchie General Hospital’s Extended Care Facility.
Funeral services were Friday, July 26, at Friendship East Baptist Church where she was a member, with interment following in the church cemetery. Womble Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cliff Morgan and Elmer F. Hurt.
She is survived by one daughter, Janice Morgan Rodgers of Charleston; one son, William T. “Joe” Morgan of Batesville; one brother, 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be made to Friendship East Baptist Church or Cemetery.
