McDONOUGH, Ga. — Shirley A. Dahl Grier, age 80, passed away Monday, Aug. 24.
She was born Aug. 7, 1940 in Charleston to the late Calvin and L. E. (Fillyaw) Dahl.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Grier; companion Joe Runnels; 4 brothers, Calvin, Bobby, John and Otey Dahl; one sister, Velma Goad.
She is survived by daughters, Gwen Grier of Tucker, Ga., Cynthia (Rick) Gardner of McDonough, Ga. and Katrina (Travis) Winkles of Fayetteville, Ga.; 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Hunter of Fayetteville; and sisters, Liz Thurman of Strawberry Plains, Tenn. and Sheila Jackson of Tillatoba.
Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service had charge of arrangements.
