Steve Lindley

SENATOBIA —  Steve Michael Lindley, 71, of Senatobia, formerly of Grenada passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the North MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Kilmichael with Bro. Ricky Harris officiating.   Wells Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include, Louis Odom, Max Ray Lindley, Jeffrey Moore, Jr., Randy Cook, Ronnie Lee Smith, and Rosevelt Howard.

Steve was born March 22, 1948 to the late Albert and May Belle Heafner Lindley of Charleston.

He honorably in U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972 and was employed with Heatcraft in Grenada for 24 ½ years. He was a Ole Miss and New Orleans Saints football fan, and loved karaoke and his guitar.  He was a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sadie Goss Lindley; a sister, Brenda Lance of Birmingham.; first cousins, Oscar Porter, Louis Odom, Robert Lee, Patsy Aven Crowell; one niece, Connie Taylor, and one nephew, Max Ray Lindley (Danielle); one great niece, Sydney Lindley and one great nephew, Max Ray Lindley, II, all of Dewitt, Ark.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother brother, Ralph Ray Lindley.
