Early last week we were dealing with recordbreaking daytime highs in the 90s. The forecast high for Wednesday this week was 66, with a low of 41. That is a dramatic turnaround.
A statewide burn ban imposed due to dangerously dry conditions and the threat of wildfires was lifted Monday. Tallahatchie’s burn ban, and bans in many other counties, remained in effect Monday.
A more seasonable weather pattern is predicted for the foreseeable future, and we’re loving it.
