In 2001, we the people of Mississippi voted by a 2-1 margin to keep the flag of 1894. In 2020, the lawbreakers in Jackson voted to do away with it.
They were told to by the NCAA, SEC, NASCAR and Walmart, not by the people of Mississippi. Pay attention, Mississippians, the lawbreakers in Jackson will ask for your vote again because you are not intelligent enough to choose your own flag.
Mississippi could be another Seattle, and one word of suggestion: take your stimulus check and buy you a flagpole, American flag and Mississippi flag of your choosing.
I will fly the current flag until the people of Mississippi vote to change that flag.
