ORIGINAL STORY:
Entergy Mississippi reported that, as of 12:20 p.m. Sunday, a total of 1,100 customers had been impacted by a power outage in Charleston that began at 9:43 a.m.
Entergy noted that equipment and/or a utility pole had been broken and that crews were on the way to make repairs.
Entergy estimated that power would be restored by 4:03 p.m.
A tree in the 600 block of East Main Street was observed to have been uprooted and some damage to the line and/or utility pole at that location was visible.
Tallahatchie County was under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning at the time the outage began.
