MEADVILLE — A public-private consortium celebrated the acquisition of 150 acres of land in the scenic Homochitto National Forest near Lake Okhissa in southwest Mississippi with a ribbon cutting on Friday, Oct. 22 that will pave the way for construction of a 200-room lodge, 1,000-person conference center and related amenities.
