Mark Carney is showing the folks in America who is boss.
Donald Trump and his Federal Government and his Federal Cabinet are destroying the livelihood and well-being of our government, our form of government, our democracy, and our formal trade relationships between governments. Our government is at risk now more than ever because of the risky government decisions the government of the United States is doing against the health of the American people!
Donald Trump as president in both terms has posed significant trade risks to the Free-Trade Agreements between the governments of Canada and Mexico with the United States.
Automation and globalization of trade and labor has already killed the manufacturing industries.
It is impossible to get manufacturing to come back to America without turning America into a high-risk society like Kenya.
It would have to involve significantly reversing inflation and reducing costs of transportation or costs-of-living or otherwise subsidizing in fiscally unsustainable manners to bribe back the Billion Dollar Corporations to bring back steady wages and jobs in the manufacturing sector to the point where the "Poorest Americans" actually train themselves to want to work for a factory job in the manufacturing industries.
That will never happen realistically, so nobody is realistically counting on it happening at all!
The best we could do is gamble financed debt to fund a truly stable system all on the government's expense and bet correctly that we could pay it off because of the ROI, but government rarely can get away with things like that. It would help if we could do that. But it is not happening yet.
AI will never pay off, if it really is going to wipe us out in the future and take away everyone's jobs. And we all know that is what happens if that is the "Best Case Scenario."
The worst case scenario is either it is used by a totalitarian dictator to re-assert power and then create surveillance states, or it otherwise just goes rogue autonomously as an autonomous weapon and decides to wipe all humanity out in the worst case scenario, of course.
The worst case scenario of course is also including such scenarios as "Human Zoos" and those being run by the AI in charge and humans not.
But Mark Carney is hedging his bets on CANADA and on CHINA. The government of China is building better ties with Canada. And Canada is expanding trade with the Government of China.
Canada's government has permitted China and companies in China to rebuild EV trade with the Canadian market for EVs by reaching a joint deal to eliminate tariffs on the China-based companies to import EVs into Canada.
BYD is now the largest manufacturer of EV automobiles of both Individual Consumer and Corporate EV automobiles for the usage of All-Electric Battery-Powered Electric Motor Electric Automobile Vehicles in Canada, across the board.
Guess where that company is headquartered and where all the manufacturing plants are located? It is in China!
Now Carney wants Canada to not only get Free Trade Agreements with the EU, but now he wants to get Free Trade and Membership entry INSIDE European Union Membership. Very good for Canada. Prime Minister Carney realizes that the Canadian Government must be able to compete inside the Global Economy, in the 21st Century.
Unlike America, who under President Trump decides not to compete or even try to export or import anything in the 21st Century, Canada maintains a more competative market on the Tariff policies to build a better system of Global Trade.
While Global Trade is a RACE TO THE BOTTOM, For governments at least, There are Economic Benefits. The Benefit is that, if you are a higher-taxation regime government, you have good chances for better funding of your healthcare if the companies in your nation-state, provided you tax them and they pay their taxes properly, are able to make a good amount of revenue for your government.
This helps to fund Schools, Hospitals, Healthcare, Higher Wages in Government Offices and in Healthcare, and the ability to fund government agencies.
These exist in countries like Canada, who are not all completely reliant on government. But large parts of the economy, as in most developed nations, rely to a large extent on the government being able to fund their government agencies and government agendas.
The easy way to explain this is simply this, if your taxes do not fund government agencies or social welfare, the government does not recieve any money to fund itself, therefore, the economy grinds to a halt in the areas already under control of the government, like the wages of most government employees! If you decide to de-fund government tax revenue, you decide to de-fund the government and de-fund the wages of the people working for you in your government. These have trickle-down negative effects. Ronald Reagan lies when he says it will be a "positive" trickle-down positive good effects!
Now we have a president who wants to be the next Ronald Reagan on steroids, Donald Trump. He sucks badly!
President Trump truly wants us to live a poorer more miserable life, but knows it and simply wants to believe he is unable to do it.
Unfortunately, President Trump wants us to be a bunch of loyal, hard-working, low-paid, disposable, unquestioning, hostile to knowledge, ignorant, sycophantic, rabidly narrow minded and hostile self-hating, self-loathing, pathetic laborers working for him to make money while suffering the lack of compensation in wages and compensation benefits.
People in other countries talk about Trump being unable to feed us.
People are talking about the $6.38 Dollars price of Diesel Gasoline, and the $4.68 Dollars average nation price of Regular Gasoline. As soon as Diesel goes above the 1979 Crises' price levels of Gasoline, we will suffer very badly.
We already are talking about running out of Gasoline and Fuel to power our gasoline and diesel engines in cars.
Nobody has anything positive to say about how bad fuel prices are to pay at the pump!
Trump is losing support very quickly according to the YouGov polls.
What Mark Carney is doing is simply the right thing for Canada.
Canada needs more reliable trade partners. America is losing ground.
Canada is also standing to still lose a lot of trade and commerce from American companies because the government is imposing a harsh Tariffs' Policy against all canadian goods basically.
Canada knows, however, that European Union membership will make all the difference return on investment.
He knows that the Canadian Government will make the situation better by having the government and society join the European Union.
That membership in the European Union secures access to Free-Trade Agreements with the European Union. This helps produce a win-win situation for Canada, the European Union, and China to fight and win the trade war against the United States Federal Government.
While many businesses in Canada will close in Canada, many more will open up in Canada.
It will take time to rebuild after the Trade War, but people in Canada will make it happen!
The Federal Government of Canada is making it happen for the people in Canada. The Canadian government has everything to gain and nothing to lose when the Americans charge too many higher tariff rates for the United States of America Government's Tariffs' Policies.
Right now, The Federal Government of the United States is tearing up the international order by doing the act of Tariffing Imports from all other nations including Antarctica, including some tariffs at least as high as 30% for some national governments or regional overseas governments or other autonomous regions like Heard and MacDonald Islands of Australia in the Antarctic on the high seas.
The Tariffs, the war in Iran, and the supply chain issues, the high gas prices, they must end.
Our Federal Government must support Green and Renewable Energies to replace fossil fuels and develop Iron-Rust-Ion Batteries, or Sodium-Ion-Water Batteries or Copper-Rust-Ion-Water Batteries to support the trade and development of Electric Vehicles and Green and Renewable Energies.
Our United States Federal Government must not support Income and Wealth Inequalities furthering worsening conditions for Everyday Americans!
The Government must get behind one single free and fair election for Congress, with multiple seats for congress. I have several other ideas about that.
A Parliament may work better than the bicameral senate of the United States of America.
We need a better government with better Constitutional Safeguards, under a Newer form of government with a Parliamentary Republic Form Of Government. We need Open-List Party-List Proportional Representation with the D'Hondt Approval voting Method of Approval Voting for the system of Apportionment and Voting in our Elections for a Single Parliament with a single house of Government legislature.
There need to be term limits for the Supreme Court of the United States and an Codified Code of Conduct for those in office of Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America.
The Federal Government of the United States would do well to work to end the tariffs, to build up the government. And it would do well to rebuild the government in the United States after the destruction of the government with DOGE and the Big Beautiful Bill Law.
