CHARLESTON — Primus “P.W.” Wheeler, Sr., age 97, passed away Sunday, July 13.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church near Charleston. Interment followed in the Wheeler Family Cemetery. Shaffer-Collins Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
He was a a farmer and a member of Sandy Bayou Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Clayton and Michael Wheeler.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia A. Ringold Wheeler; his children, Primus Jr., Patricia, Loretta, Jacqueline, Elaine and Debra; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
