Seal bids will be received by the East Tallahatchie School District, 411 Chestnut street, Charleston, MS 38921 up to and no later than 5:00 P. M. , on June 15, 2026, and opened up at the School board meeting thereafter. The bids will be for the right to THIN TIMBER designated for that purpose on approximately 158 acres of School Trust Lands in Section 16 Township 25 north, Range 03 east, Tallahatchie county, MS and 152 acres in Section 16 Township 23 north Range 3 east
Before bids are submitted, full information concerning the material for sale, condition of the sale, submission of bids, and a copy of the sample contract should be obtained from the MFC Forester Cole Magers 601-720-7598 or Shaun Rogers 601-540-2611. Prospective bidders shall be required to present a Performance bond in the amount as specified within the sample contract at the signing of the timber sale contract.
