CHARLESTON — Randy Everett Porter went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, August 22.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, at Womble Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Shelly Scallions and Bro. Joel Hammon officiating.
He was a beloved son, father, brother and grandfater. Randy was a fantastic guitar player and he was loved by everyone that knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Jane Porter of Brazil; his loving daughter, Candace Porter of Florida, and his precious granddaughters, a loving sister, Kathy Chandler (Berlin) of Jasper, Alabama; a loving brother, Anthony Porter of Brazil; nephews, Marcus Porter of Brazil, Bobby Card Jr. of Grant, Alabama, Brandon Card of New York, Steven Beavers; and nieces, Christy Matthews, Brittany Weaver.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Everett Porter, sons, Austin Porter and David Porter; and brothers Eric Porter and James Porter.
