COURTLAND — Richard Steven Parker, age 74, passed away Tuesday, August 11, at his home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 15, at Courtland Baptist Church with interment following at Enid Oak Hill Cemetery at Enid. Wells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
He worked for years in transportation for Tallahatchie General Hospital, then Oxford Health and Rehab before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Parker; his children, Madeline K. Parker White of Memphis, Steven E. Parker of Courtland and Richard S. Parker Jr. of Burleson, Tenn; a step-daughter, Kelli Thornton of Water Valley; and stepson, Michael Gann of Enid; two sisters; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
