OAKLAND — Sallie Slaughter Adams, age 91, of Oakland, passed away Sunday, June 1.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, June 7, with visitation at 11 a.m. at Newsom Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Allen Adams; and her son, Paul Allen Adams Jr..
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Kornegay; two grandchildren and two sisters.
