Charleston’s season ends

The Charleston High School Tigers' varsity football season came to a close Friday night with a 61-40 loss to the East Webster Wolverines in the third round of the 2A state playoffs.

Charleston finished the season 8-3 while East Webster improved to 12-1.

CHS Tigers (8-2) to host East Webster Wolverines (11-1) in third round of playoffs Friday night

The Charleston High School Tigers will host the East Webster Wolverines from Maben in the third round of the state playoffs Friday night (Nov. 21).
Kickoff is at 7.
Admission, set by the Mississippi High School Activities Association, is $10.

West Tallahatchie gym named in honor of former longtime coach, Bernard Berryhill

WEBB — The Bernard Berryhill Gymnasium at West Tallahatchie High School was officially dedicated Saturday in honor of the former longtime West Tally boys basketball coach who helped bring the school a state championship.

Okolona comes to West Tally for Friday night playoff game
