CLARKSDALE — Strider Academy athletes competed in the Lee Academy Colt Relays on Wednesday, March 23, at the Lee track and field complex here.
In junior high girls, Mckinna Smith placed second in the 100-meter hurdles and second in the 100-meter dash.
As a team, the junior high boys placed third in their division with a total of 37 points.
Freshman Luke Smith placed first in the 100-meter dash, first in the 200-meter dash and first in the 300- meter hurdles.
Freshman Nicholas Logan placed fourth in the 1600- meter run.
Eighth-grader Wade Lashley placed first in the 800- meter run.
Eighth-grader Austin Miller placed second in the 400-meter dash.
The team of Hayden Nelson, Stuart Denman, Luke Smith and Austin Miller placed second in the 400- meter relay.
The team of Stuart Denman, Gage Burt, Luke Smith and Austin Miller placed third in the 400-meter dash.
In high school boys, sophomore Braxton Smith placed third in 110-meter hurdles.
