CHARLESTON — Stanley T. Tribble, age 66, passed away at his residence in Charleston Saturday, Dec. 8.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at Newsom Funeral Home chapel in Charleston.
“Stan,” a member of Paynes Baptist Church, graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree. He was a retired educator for East Tallahatchie School System, as well as a carpenter.
He was a member of Charleston Fire Department for over 30 years, a former Tallahatchie County Supervisor of Beat 3, and a member of the Paynes Water Association.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of forty years, Debbie Hyde Tribble; his daughter, Raven Tribble of Charleston; his son, Shayne Tribble, of Charleston; his beloved mother, Joan Nelson; his sisters, Mitzi Woods, Beverly Tribble and Dawn Morrow, all of Charleston; his brother, Dwight Tribble of Charleston; and his four grandchildren, Wyatt Hodges, Ty Hodges, Mea Tribble and Tori Wortham, all of Charleston.
Stan was preceded in death by his father, J. T. Tribble, and one nephew, Cole Tribble.
