I have always said that I grew up in the best years ever. I grew up in the fifties and sixties and things, people and possibilities were just awesome. There were Saturday afternoon movie matinees, drive-in movies, so many good burger and hangout places, and Home Economics taught in our schools.

Even before I enjoyed Thanksgiving last week, I was already planning and plotting my ideas for decorating for the Christmas season, my favorite time of the year! I was somewhat melancholy when I realized that I was shorted a week this year to get my house decorated, gifts bought, menu planned and groceries gathered for the feast.
