Charleston hosts North Side Friday on senior night, with region title on line

Charleston High School senior night festivities will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, prior to the kickoff of the game pitting the CHS Tigers against the North Side Gators.
Charleston enters the game with an overall record of 6-2. North Side is 7-1.
The game will decide the Region 3-2A championship.

He goes above and beyond not only for this community, but the entire state. He is always looking for ways to help. He became involved with CARE in the early days of its existence, being one of the first members,and has been a member for 20 years.

Trunk or treat event slated for Oct. 31

The city of Charleston and Val’s Chateau are sponsoring a communitywide Halloween-themed trunk or treat event on Tuesday, Oct. 31, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
This third annual event, which is primarily being held on the south side of the Charleston Court Square, is fittingly called the “Scare on the Square.”
