All of Tallahatchie County's voting precincts are open today for a Republican Party runoff to determine the 2nd Congressional District U.S. House nominee.
Candidates Ron Eller and Andrew Scott Smith appear on today's ballot, with the winner advancing to face Democratic nominee, incumbent U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, in November's general election.
As a reminder, only those who cast a Republican ballot or did not vote in the primary election may vote in the Republican primary runoff.
The polls will be open until 7 p.m., and any voter in line at 7 is legally entitled to cast a ballot.
