OAKLAND — Walter Vernon “Walt” Moore, III, age 70, of Oakland, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, at his home.
Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada.
Graveside services will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
He was the owner and operator of the Moore Farm in Oakland.
He is survived by his wife, Dr. Jerilou James Moore; a sister and brother.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
