CHARLESTON — William David “Billy” Hill, Sr., age 86, passed away Tuesday, March 18, at Saint Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 22, at Corinth Baptist Church from 12 until 2 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Livingston officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery.
He was born in Indianola on August 8, 1938, to the late Vera Gray Tribble, and step-father, Johnny Tribble.
Billy loved to go hunting and had a passion for woodworking.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Louise Hill; a son, William David Hill, Jr. of Madison; two brothers, Larry Tribble and Terry Tribble (Cathy); and two grandchildren, Jessica Weeks and Ashley Surles, and two great-grandchildren, Wesley Weeks and Emma Weeks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vera Gray Tribble and Johnny Tribble; a brother, JT Tribble; and two sisters, Louise Barkley and Frances Bulliner.
Pallbearers are Christopher Dunn, Will Dunn, Steven Foreman, Jerry Milam, Doug Powell and Rodney Smith.
