He was born September 13, 1942, in Pine Bluff, AR to the late Joe A. and Kristine Puddephatt Wilkin, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Joseph A. Wilkin, III and one, half-sister Jo Ann Ringer.
Jody was a member of Watson Methodist Church, and was Coroner of Desha County for 15 years, a commercial fisherman and a member of Wilkin Hunting Club on Big Island. Jody loved to fish and hunt whenever he possibly could.
