DUMAS — Dumas put together a complete performance on both ends of the floor, rolling past Rison by a final score of 70–29.
Dumas set the tone early with relentless defense and crisp ball movement, jumping out to an 8–9 lead after the opening stretch and never looking back. The Bobcats controlled the pace throughout, forcing turnovers, winning the rebounding battle, and converting in transition.

LITTLE ROCK — The $12 billion promised by U.S. President Donald J. Trump in December 2025 will be in farmers’ hands no later than Feb. 28, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced earlier this month.
The payments, which are part of the Farmer Bridge Assistance program, are intended to help cover growers’ debts and expenses until funds from the Farm Safety Net Program are available in October, said Hunter Biram, extension agricultural economist for the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture.

Bingo night lit up Dumas last week, bringing neighbors together for an evening of fun, prizes, and connection. Families, friends, and residents of all ages filled the hall, eagerly marking their cards and celebrating each shouted “Bingo!”
Bingo’s appeal goes beyond simple games. Its accessibility—low cost, easy-to-learn rules, and inclusive nature—has made it a favorite pastime for generations. “It’s a game for everyone,” said one participant. “It doesn’t matter your age, background, or experience—you can play and have fun.”
