Warm and pleasant “Season’s Greetings” from our families and community to you and yours.
We hope you are enjoying a good week while you are already celebrating in events with family, friends and associates. This time of year brings memories of loved ones, yet it’s a time of renewal, welcoming newcomers to the family and celebrating the traditional occasion of Christmas.
The Tallahatchie County Retired Teachers Association held its regular monthly meeting and holiday gathering on Monday, Dec. 9, at the Tallahatchie County Library in Charleston. The gathering began during the noon hour. Guests were newly elected Education District 9 school board member Robin L. Hodges, who was introduced virtually as guest speaker, and Audrey Brown, who is also a school board member. After the business period and some special holiday presentations, members enjoyed a delicious buffet meal.
Continue to enjoy the spirit of Christmas by embracing the real Christmas story. Let the Christmas music you hear during this blessed season bring you joy. Enjoy the music, admire the decorations, play with the children, enjoy the festive nutrients you partake of and embrace others with love.
My personal wish is for you to enjoy the remaining days of December and may you experience the divine “joy” of this holiday season.
Merry Christmas!
