Warm and pleasant greetings to all.
We hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day and enjoyed the week. I watched several TV programs last week honoring mothers. As I listened to younger mothers talk about rearing their children, I thought about how much more mothers need to share their experiences with other mothers. It’s not about keeping your child happy or entertaining them — they can do this — as it is to nurture and teach with love.
Children, too, are clever and have a sense of knowing when and what with their mothers. Allow children to think and express themselves reasonably while mothers love, listen, encourage and respect them.
What the child becomes in life, the mother has the responsibility of shaping the young life and teaching the importance of modeling Godly character.
Of course, generations before are not necessarily similar to the earlier generations in many respects and (maybe) rightfully so!

Our community was busy and quite dusty with trucks transporting supplies and workers, and tractors plowing the fields and some burning to clear land. The rain showers were sparse.
We are pleased to read about students who are in school achieving and succeeding in their studies and activities. The community feels the pride students bring to their schools, teachers/ coaches and schoolmates. Parents, of course, are proud.
Our congratulations to these students who work hard to achieve the accolades. We hope students do well taking the final nine-weeks exams this week.
Nearing school closing, parents are beaming with smiles and hand claps for many reasons and some may be filled with uncertainty about the next chapter, but rest assured you will get through it and shine like a sunbeam and clap with praise.
The month of May brings us to school closings. Graduation exercises at school, colleges and universities are happening now.
Congratulations to all 2025-2026 graduates. This is a year we will remember.
