Warm and pleasant greetings to all.We hope you are enjoying a good week with September ending and October beginning.
There are 91 days in the fall season. Before you know it, we will be in the winter holiday season. It will soon be daylight saving time, too. In the meantime, we will embrace the beauty and the excitement the fall season brings. Crispness in the air, colors in the foliage, scents of earth making us feel inspired to continue to pray, work and play.
The fall forecast for fashion colors is always a brilliant new thought. Did you know fashion colors are decided two years before the season arrives? This gives textile manufacturers time to produce material and designers time to develop and produce their collections. Some colors this fall are mocha mousse, primrose pink, bubble gum pink, dirty plum, aged whiskey and fern green. Sounds as if it’s shades of browns, neutral tones and earthly greens. Shades of cherry red will be popular. I won’t be on the runway or red carpet like some of you.
Some individuals you see are sporting it all the time. You are looking good! Of course, you don’t have to meet styles, fashions and trend settings, but some do. We embrace those who choose and know the figure fits you well.
We all want to dress comfortably, appropriately, somewhat coordinated and safely. Yes, the 1970s are influencing the fashion ’25 fall season. You may already have it in your closet, so check closely.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, seemingly the most noticeable awareness issue for the month. You’ll see lots of ribbons, clothing, decorations and even some foods and drinks in all shades of pink.
October is dedicated to increasing awareness of breast cancer, promoting screening and early detection, and, of course, raising funds for research into prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. Be aware of this important health campaign and learn more to show solidarity to those affected by breast cancer and contribute to raising awareness for continued research and improve patient care. Be involved by donating to reputable organizations, participating in walks or runs, volunteering time to help with fundraisers and other programs of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Please remind loved ones of mammograms and annual checkups with the health care provider.
Good wishes for our school students, as they prepare and take the first 9-week exams.
Let’s continue to encourage our children and give our support to parents as they instill positive thoughts and good examples to follow.
Enjoy life today and be blessed.
