ELVIS is in the building! Well, technically, he will be on the Gateway to the Delta Festival stage on Oct. 10. We are excited to welcome Elvis impersonator Brian Lee Howell and his band back to Gateway this year to sing all the familiar songs of the King of Rock & Roll that we all love to hear.
Being known around the area as “Elvis” has been Brian Lee Howell’s career for the past 22 years. He has appeared on TV, radio and in magazines. He has portrayed Elvis in a musical role, been filmed for several documentaries, cast in an art film, was a featured artist in a book, and is even the demo vocalist for an Elvis track company. On a personal note, Brian Lee is also a devoted Christian and the music director at his local church, Shandy Baptist. He and his wife vowed to perform gospel songs in every show. He and his band take the Gateway stage at 12:30 that Saturday. So, Don’t Be Cruel, put on those Blue Suede Shoes, grab your little Teddy Bear, and join us!
We cannot have a successful Gateway each year without the help and support of our community. The Gateway to the Delta Festival takes pride in the fact that it is completely organized and run each year by volunteers. Scholarship recipients, Char-leston High School students and our CARE Board of Directors volunteer to sell Gateway merchandise, assist with vendor check-in and keep Kids Zone humming. Take a minute to check your calendar schedule today and reach out to CARE to volunteer (647-0942). We appreciate your help, even if only for a small portion of the day.
We know that you are ready for another fun-filled family day around the Charleston Court Square. See you at Gateway 2026!
