Charleston High School will celebrate annual homecoming festivities in early October around the theme, “Midnight in Paris.”
The coronation will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 6 p.m.
The homecoming parade will roll on Thursday, Oct. 2, at 5 p.m.
The grand marshal of the parade will be East Tallahatchie School District Superintendent Raymond Russell.
The route of the homecoming parade has been announced as follows: Starting on East Walnut Street, the procession will head down South Market Street, loop around Tallahatchie General Hospital’s parking lot, turn left onto Cypress Street, right onto South Franklin to Family Dollar, right onto West Main, continue around the court square and down Cossar Boulevard before turning right onto South Cossar Street and ending at the former National Guard armory.

This year’s CHS homecoming maids are seniors Payton Atkins, Tambria Price, Ja’nisha Taylor and Shyerra Truly; juniors Madison Brown and Armani Smith; sophomores Deshundra Carter and Khole Robey; and freshmen Taylor Harris and Kassidy James.
The 2025 CHS homecoming court will be presented, and a queen crowned, during halftime of the annual homecoming football game on Friday, Oct. 3. The game pits the hometown CHS Tigers against the visiting Mobile Christian Leopards of Mobile, Alabama. The contest kicks off at 7 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
