Our Gateway to the Delta Festival is now only days away! So, it is time to announce the next act in our entertainment lineup.
The Dukes of Country will usher in the evening and perform after S.L.A.S.H.
Do you remember when country was fun? Remember when country was cool? The icons and the legends. Not only do the Dukes of Country transform into characters from the time period and perform ’80s and ’90s country hits, they also include choreographed dancing, use CB radios on the stage to talk to the crowd, give away memorabilia to the loudest fans and help take each fan back to their memories of classic country in the most professional way possible. We guarantee that you will experience “The Classic Country Show” with the Dukes of Country.
Our other Gateway festivities were designed to provide something for everyone. The Gateway pageants are for the little ones, the photo contest for photo enthusiasts and the Smoochin’ Scissors Contest is for everyone who wants to see Danny Adams, David Groner or John Ball Burnett pucker up to kiss the pig on the Gateway stage that afternoon.
Gateway T-shirts, posters and other memorabilia will be available for sale on Thursday, Oct. 3, beginning at 10 a.m. in the CARE gallery. There are a few remaining open spots for reunion tents and arts/crafts tents. Call CARE today if you have any questions regarding any of these activities scheduled for the festival.
