Dec. 23 was a day of good food, presents and lots of laughter for residents in Wing B at the Extended Care Facility.
We had a good crowd gather in the dining room to receive their gifts from staff who had chosen their name and administration who provides a gift for each and every resident every year.
The holidays brought visitors from all over the country as people traveled home to Charleston to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s. Many residents were able to go home during the holidays, which is a special treat for the resident and their family.
As we leave the 2022 year behind, we look forward to the year 2023 being free from illness and isolation.
We hope that as we enter this new year, all the world will look into the best way for this world to live in peace, find prosperity by loving the job we have, and forever remember that it is better to give than receive.
We wish you a very happy New Year!
