We are happy to share that many of our residents are off isolation and things here at Tallahatchie General Hospital’s Extended Care Facility have begun to feel back to normal.
The halls have started filling back up with residents back to attending all their fun daily activities, as you can see. The month of January, we had to cancel some activities to protect our residents and the people in the community but we are so thankful to be starting back.
Thank you to everyone who stayed on standby ready to jump back in to provide fun activities to our residents when the coast was clear. Our favorite activity that we were so excited to start back was community bingo! We had the pleasure of First Methodist Church coming and sharing laughs and many treats with our resident.
We know the importance of having our residents remain engaged with the outside community and we always want to keep that connection for them.
The halls here are covered in Valentine’s Day decorations and our residents love to see them all. Please stop by and check out our bulletin boards of hearts that residents in crafts made to help display their own decorations. They love to make this place feel like home and give their own touch to everything we do.
During the month of February, we have many fun things planned for our residents and we cannot wait to share with you all!
