David talked to Roger Kendall Sunday and he said his daughter, Bridget Bailey, was in ICU in Jackson with COPD. Your writer also has COPD, and I’m here to tell you it is a scary feeling. I am on oxygen full-time now. I had an appointment this week in Oxford to see my doctor.
Well, it’s been a good week and weekend, said Ginger Harrison. They attended husband Phil’s Nail side of the family reunion. They had a good time visiting and enjoyed all their talent. Lots of musicians and singers in that crew. Josh and Jake enjoyed playing and singing with them. Ginger said it was great to have her moma, Martha Box, at church with them Sunday.
Gloria Marceleno’s son, Joseph Little, and daughter-in-law, Jessie Pascarelli Little, came in Friday night. Joseph is up for a week and few days. Jessie flew back to Virginia. My daughter, Carley, is either flying or driving up probably the weekend; she and her husband, Josh Davila.
Junior Dukes and Kat Benson, along with Kat’s sister Sydney Blair Benson and friend Joe Pearson, had a spooky good time at Cedar Hills Haunted Farms.
Martha Box said she had a beautiful ride over to Pine Grove Baptist Church Sunday morning. She walked in the door at 11:03, just as service began, sitting next to her grandson Jake and just behind her grandson Josh. “I tell you folks, those two singing about our Lord fills this GiGi’s heart!” said Martha. “And Bro. Scarborough’s message about Jesus’s delight in us, wow! Not that He delights in that one or this one, but us — you and me!” Martha said the spirit and love were felt in the house from the moment she opened the door. She said it was great to visit family and friends and that she will get to do it at their homecoming next week. “I am so well fed!” she added.

May you all have a wonderful and blessed birthday!
Please pray for Steve Thurman, Shelia Jackson’s nephew. He recently had brain surgery.
