The National Charleston Day Organization announces its annual scholarship initiative.
Charleston High School graduating seniors this May and students currently enrolled as freshman in an institution of higher learning are eligible to apply. Applicants must provide a completed packet of information to include personal information, transcript, ACT/SAT scores, GPA calculations, acceptance document from school of choice, two references (one from a counselor, principal or teacher, another from a community representative), and a 500-word essay on future goals and how the applicant will work to enhance the community.
Completed applications must be postmarked by May 1 and mailed to National Charleston Day Organization, Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 763, Charleston, MS 38921.
