Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS District 2) is gearing up to host the17th Annual College and Career Fair on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., at the Washington County Convention Center, 1040 S. Raceway Road, in Greenville..
The College and Career Fair will feature prospective employers. Also, various universities and community colleges, both in-state and out-of-state, will be available to discuss educational opportunities. Fair attendees will be able to meet one-on-one with prospective employers and receive career-readiness training and tips. High school students will step into the real world and experience a Reality Fair, where they’ll make real-life financial decisions, manage a budget, and discover what it takes to thrive financially!
