BOLTON – Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) will host a town hall Wednesday, March 19, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at the Belle Flower Missionary Baptist Church, 418 W. Pearl St., in Grenada, to address federal employee layoffs, budget cuts and the latest updates on Social Security, Medicaid, Medicare, veterans' benefits and other key government programs in Mississippi’s Second Congressional District.
The discussion will cover workers' rights, options for those facing layoffs, and how these proposed cuts could impact veterans, seniors and low-income families who depend on federal programs.
